Every dataset in this catalog

  • Ollama vs llama.cpp Same-GPU Compare — Decode, prefill, VRAM, and load time for Ollama and llama.cpp on the same RTX 5080 across three models, wall-clock cross-checked with llama-bench as a third instrument. CC BY 4.0.
  • MCP Server Resource Benchmark — Measured resident memory, startup time, and tool counts for 11 popular MCP servers plus a concurrent five-server stack, with per-iteration arrays and a two-path cross-check. CC BY 4.0.
  • TechFuelHQ DDR5 RAM Price Index — Dated $/GB index for mainstream 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 kits at named direct US retailers, captured with a published method during the 2026 memory price crisis. CC BY 4.0.
  • TechFuelHQ HDD Price Index — Dated $/TB index for 8TB 3.5-inch NAS, surveillance, enterprise, and desktop hard drives at named direct US retailers, captured with a published method during the 2026 drive supply squeeze. CC BY 4.0.
  • RTX 5080 LLM Power Efficiency Dataset — Measured board power, tokens per joule, and electricity cost per million tokens for local LLM inference on a retail RTX 5080 — 1Hz telemetry paired with decode rates, four models from 3B to 20.9B. CC BY 4.0.
  • RTX 5080 Local LLM Throughput Dataset — Measured decode and prefill tokens/second, load times, and VRAM residency for local LLMs on a retail RTX 5080, with full reproducibility metadata. CC BY 4.0.
  • TechFuelHQ PC Builder Parts Dataset — Open specifications and compatibility data for 126 PC components, each row carrying its own source and last-verified date. CC BY 4.0.
  • ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC — First-Party Bench Dataset — First-party 3DMark, clocks, thermals, board power and 4K gaming results measured on the operator's own card.
  • TechFuelHQ Community GPU Undervolt Results — Open, crowdsourced GPU undervolt settings with measured power, thermal and FPS deltas, each row citing a resolvable source.
  • TechFuelHQ Community Coil Whine Census — Owner-reported coil whine for GPUs, PSUs, and AIO pumps on an anchored 0-4 severity scale, published as per-model distributions (n and share at each severity) once a model reaches 5 reports — odds, not verdicts. CC BY 4.0.
Publication standard

What earns a place here

  1. Traceable origin. A measurement comes from our bench, or a compilation row names the page it came from.
  2. Raw access. Downloadable JSON or CSV accompanies the readable explanation whenever a standalone file exists.
  3. Reproducible method. Hardware, settings, dates, and field definitions are documented beside the result.
  4. Visible corrections. Versions and changes stay attached to the dataset instead of being silently overwritten.
About

About this hub

What lives here

The canonical home for structured data published by TechFuelHQ: first-party bench datasets and reference compilations, each versioned, license-tagged (CC BY 4.0), and traceable to a documented method. Every dataset card above links its page; every page ships its raw file, its method, and its correction history. The catalog in this page’s frontmatter is the machine-readable source of truth — ten datasets as of 2026-08-23 — and each dataset page carries its own attribution line and change log.

Reuse

Cite it, audit it, build with it

The published datasets use Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 unless a dataset page states otherwise. The exact attribution line and license file travel with each dataset.
